As a Hydraulics Technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft components, including the removal and reinstallation of all sub-components. You will receive technical guidance as required from a supervisor or higher-level technician. Your work will involve the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and testing of components serviced and piece parts by the repair station manual. You will apply your technical knowledge of aircraft components to determine equipment malfunctions and your expertise to restore equipment conditions or operations. Additionally, you will solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals. You will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed and provide other duties as needed and assigned.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft components.
• Remove and reinstall all sub-components.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and test serviced components and piece parts.
• Determine equipment malfunctions using technical knowledge of aircraft components.
• Restore equipment condition and operation.
• Interpret technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals to solve moderate to complex problems.
• Make entries in work order documentation for work performed.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
• Understand and perform functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001 Standards.

• Proficient in hydraulics maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications.
• Experience in hydraulics installation, disassembly, and assembly.
• Knowledge of bench technician, repair technician, accessories technician, pneumatics, and valves.
• Proficient with blueprints and schematics.
• Minimum of 4 years experience overhauling, disassembling, and assembling hydraulic components in a backshop setting.

• A&P license preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $93600.00/yr.

Direct Placement, Medical, dental and vision (no waiting period), 401k Er contribution 50 of the EE contribution up to a 9, Tuition Assistance up to $5250.00 per year, life insurance pay by the ER. Paid vacation and holidays. Pay will be at the higher end if they have their A&P.
