Responsibilities:
• Mid level technician.
• Performs assignments of a general nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
• Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs
• Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation
• Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation
• Good electrical/instrument troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of PLCs
• Properly use high voltage test equipment
• Re-fuse high voltage lines
• Remove and repair switchgear
• Properly size and install wire and conduit
• Troubleshooting electrical/instrument issues
• Working knowledge of process control fundamentals
• Know PID tuning fundamentals
• Working knowledge of DCS systems
• Working knowledge of motors and motor controls
• Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures, and photo cells
• Active participant in implementing and sustaining the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including a focus on standardized work, rapid problem solving, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
• Accountable for performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with established procedures as required due to being a Responsible Care facility
This is currently a day shift (Mon-Friday) opportunity, however, this may require shift work.
YOU MUST HAVE:
• 2 year technical degree in instrumentation and/or electrical or classified as a apprentice electrician
• 2-5 years total industrial plant maintenance experience
