Job Description:
Responsibilities

This role provides application and adherence to regulatory compliance for ID Media creation, distribution, and administration.

 

AOSSP/ID Media Procedure Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance to all aspects of the AOSSP, and CFR regulations that govern the airline’s ID Media disposition operations.
  • Enforce Spirit Airlines standard security policies as they pertain to the ID Media regulations.

Investigations, Audits and Reporting:

  • As directed, conduct self-audits, prepare, and deliver regulatory audits, and report all inconsistencies discovered.

ID Media Compliance Operations

  • Ensure compliance to daily review of submitted ID Media requests.
  • Ensure timely delivery of ID media to all new team members.
  • Ensure timely removal of termed employees from the ID media system in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adequate stocks of ID production supplies are on hand.

Qualifications

  • 3+ yrs. in Human Resources regulatory compliance or other similar security related field experience.
  • In-depth understanding of ID Media Plan as outlined in the AOSSP, current Security Directives and the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both written and orally the elements of the security programs affecting ID Media regulatory compliance and maintaining compliance for multi-locations involved with ID Media and Airport operations.
  • Track and trend all new hires and current employees’ compliance with ID Media requirements
  • Attend hiring events, conduct on-site photo capturing for attendees and HDQ/Station employees.
  • Develop and maintain tracking databases with appropriate notifications to various departments within the company and airports.
  • Maintain operational compliance security and integrity with consideration to operational costs.
  • Ability to use various governmental programs, external programs, and MS. Office.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
  • Collaborates with internal and external entities to affectively achieve positive results and builds strong working relationships.
  • Able to track and trend data from internal and external sources that identify operational limitations, deficiencies, and vulnerabilities to apply the appropriate resolution measures and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.
  • Must exercise discretion that reflects that of the Department and maintains a work and personal ethic that is above reproach.
  • Available 24/7 or as directed to respond to security related incidents relevant to carrier operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing security compliance environment.
  • Ability to acquire required SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) credentials and maintain government clearance in accordance with TSA regulations and standards.
  • Domestic and International travel approximately 50 of the time.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g., emergency change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments.)
