Key Responsibilities:Own technical decisions and directions for their portfolio of applications. Advise development teams on various architectural designs and design patterns. Serve as overall technical leader for development teams. Lead process workflows during creation, automation, DevOps, and path to production.Establish policies and guidelines for path-to production for various products. Partner with business stakeholders and product owners under a given framework and own the overall technical solution. Establish development standards and practices.Coach and mentor developers. Define technical roadmaps fulfilling business and technical strategic goals. Facilitate UI and API layer development utilizing best practices for modern software engineering. Define cloud native design andor cloud migration design for legacy on premises applications.Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, and 7 years of experience in information technology. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, and 4 years of experience in information technology. Must have experience in: Mentoring Software Engineers with design and coding standards; Architecting and designing enterprise software solutions, applications, data, integrations, security and platform engineering at an enterprise scaleWorking in AWS services including Lambda functions, API gateway, Step Functions, CDK, SDK, Dynamo DB, Aurora, and EC2Conducting full-stack development to include both user interface and back-end development with frameworks like Python, Node, or JavaWorking with microservices architecture, messaging middleware, and developing cloud native applicationsDeveloping POCs and ensuring that proper standards and procedures are adopted and implemented
