Industrial Electrician

Job Description

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will provide electrical installation and maintenance services to a wide variety of research test facilities that operate at a broad range of voltages. The work schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical installation and maintenance services.
• Work from detailed electrical schematics and prints.
• Bend electrical conduit and pull large and small gauge wiring.
• Install and modify electrical panels, raceways, enclosures, motor-driven equipment, motors, lighting systems, and other associated electrical hardware and devices.
• Undergo future training to obtain a qualified operator status within a test facility.

• Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical safety.
• Experience in voltage distribution, regulation, and high voltage systems.
