Overview:

NAVBLUE’s New Graduate Program is a unique opportunity designed with newly graduated students in mind. Through this program, participants will be exposed to various parts of our business, providing opportunities to learn technologies and develop a host of new skills. Mentored by a Senior Developer, and fully supported by our engineering leaders, you will hone your craft while rotating through four separate software engineering areas that focus on Frontend, Services, Optimization & AI and Clean Code. Working hands-on with impactful projects that matter, you will gain real-world experience and obtain a better idea of what YOU can bring to the table in your professional life. Further, you will become an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner with support and funding provided by NAVBLUE. If that isn’t enough, you will spend time in Gdansk, Poland getting exposure to other areas of the business. 

Participants in the New Graduate Program are full-time NAVBLUE employees. The program runs for 18 months, but your employment with NAVBLUE will continue well beyond.

Job Summary:

As a Graduate Software Developer, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, maintenance and support of various applications, systems, and tools.  You will assist with coding, testing and debugging of new software and/or enhancements to existing software to meet product specifications.  Assigned projects are specified in detail and of limited complexity.  You will work under direct supervision and receive training on all aspects of the business.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow detailed technical specifications (or equivalent) to complete technical tasks

  • Maintain/Create documentation for applications, tools, or systems as required

  • Deploy various systems, tools and applications (including installation and testing)

  • Communicate project/work status orally and written as required

  • Submission of final project at the conclusion of NAVBLUE’s Graduate Program



 

Education:

  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent


 

Key Qualifications: 

  • 2023/2024 graduate with less than 1.5  years of full-time work experience

  • Co-op/intern experience is a plus 

  • Must work effectively with others in a team environment

  • Proficient programming knowledge in frontend, backend or mobile spaces


 

Communication Skill:

  • Ability to communicate proficiently in English 

Travel Required: 

  • Ability to travel to Gdansk, Poland
