Responsibilities: • Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of tests and analyses.• Manage the analysis and control of metal finishing solutions.• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring reliable results.• Coordinate with the purchasing department for inventory management of chemicals.• Monitor and control temperature, pH, and chemistry of plating baths through regular testing.• Oversee and schedule tank maintenance crucial to production processes.• Ensure all products adhere to stringent quality standards through regular testing and analysis.• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all lab activities.• Lead and develop a team of laboratory technicians, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Requirements: • Bachelors degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field; equivalent industry experience is acceptable.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory management within a manufacturing or plating environment.• CEF Certification required.• Familiarity with wet chemical analysis, including pH, conductivity, and other analytical techniques.• Experience with AS9100 quality management systems.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management software
