Job description:
As Laboratory Technician you will support the operational business areas through a combination of destructive and non-destructive testing methods as well as chemical analysis to ensure conforming product throughout all stages of the build cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out mechanical testing methods (tensile, fatigue, sheer&8230;).
• Perform material testing and special incoming testing’s (hardness, electrical conductivity, spectroscopy and peeling).
• Support failure analysis in case of customer irritations.
• Support external laboratories qualification and observation.
• Perform chemical analysis (XRF, ICP, IC, FTIR&8230;).
Requirements:
• You will have experience of materials and chemical analysis in an industry where process, safety & governance is highly scrutinised.
• Degree educated with a background in engineering would be preferred.
