As a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr you assist in all phases of the Manufacturing process with primary focus on F-35 final assemble, but not limited to, producibility issues, root cause/corrective action, and technical problem solution.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr you will be responsible for:
• Supporting the development of new methodology and implement existing methods for non-conformance feedback to points of origin.
• Developing methodologies to reduce scrap, rework, and repair costs supporting F-35 final assemble.
• Interfacing cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Liaison Engineering, Production Control, M&P Engineering, and Industrial Engineering as needed to define critical assembly sequence and integrate changes into production schedule.
• Assisting area leadership with day-to-day operation of manufacturing.
• Providing technical assistance to Mechanics, and Technicians through on-the-job training and technical guidance.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of corrective actions and improvements to reduce HPU and improve span times.

Must have the ability to work independently with minimum direct supervision and must have excellent communication & teaming skills.

Must have the ability to interface with Leadership, Q&MS Leads, Production Engineering Leads, technical experts, and floor level personnel in a multi-functional environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with aircraft maintenance &/or manufacturing, F-35 assembly, depot modifications, composite manufacturing, &/or repairs.
• Experience with composite &/or LO coatings.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings/specifications.
Desired Skills:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with aircraft maintenance, F-35 assembly, depot modifications, composite manufacturing, &/or repairs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline preferred.
• Green Belt certification or other Continuous Improvement experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assist with audits utilizing AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Have working knowledge of aircraft structures, modification practices, coatings applications, and specifications

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
