Job Description:
Description:Performs operations in the manufacture, processing, and application of various thermal protection coatings working from process plans, manufacturing procedures, and/or engineering drawings and other pertinent data. Performs weighing/transportation operations of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials used in the formulations of end products. Operates multiple types of manufacturing mixing equipment such as planetary, conical and high shear mixers used in the compounding of products. Performs application of manufactured products through spray or molding processes. Performs testing of products to verify property conformance to established requirements. Records all pertinent data on applicable documents to maintain total traceability of materials and test results.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to Learn and/or general knowledge in the safe operation of manufacturing equipment and processes. Ability to plan and perform work of some complexity which involves sequencing of operations, and the use of judgement in mixing ingredients to obtain the proper quality product.
Ability to properly wear and use personal protective equipment and handle hazardous materials.
Ability to perform moderate physical work for a sustained period of time handling light to medium weights of raw and packaged materials.
Medical Screening required prior to start.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge in the operation of manufacturing/test equipment and processes such as spray, molding and testing.
Training for actual Job Duties, use of Respirator, Pendant Crane, Rigging, and Hand Operated Forklift will be scheduled onsite after start date.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
