Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a National Communications Advisor, France (f/m) to join our team based in Elancourt, France.

Mission Tasks and key deliverables

• Shape and foster Airbus Defence and Space brand reputation in France by defining a national comms strategy.

• Plan, identify and map both public insights and corporate key messages, key events and ad-hoc communication occasions with an “audience first” approach.

• Orchestrate and facilitate a Transversal Newsroom with Public Affairs, Marketing, External and Internal Communications and Employer Marketing to agree and align on the communication plan and its actions 

• Execute the Comms Strategy and plan, as agreed with the relevant internal stakeholders in AD

• Define SMART communications objectives in order to raise Airbus Defence and Space profile in France and provide relevant audience insights about the brands&39; perception in France.

• Create and roll out compelling and surprising concepts and communications campaigns and projects from A-Z for internal and external audiences 

• Ensure to consistently bring narrative and strategic themes to life with compelling content and storytelling

• Facilitate joint national target setting, derive KPIs and sustain tracking and monitoring

• Act as a Communication Advisor for transversal corporate functions: Innovation, Employer Marketing/HR topics.

Profile and qualities:

• Passionate communicator with a minimum of five years of experience in internal and/or external communications - either in an agency, or corporate environment or as a journalist

• Experience with defence politics and areospace media

• Experience with channels of (digital) communications and Social Media

• 360 degree communication professional with C-Level positioning experience

• Strong and proven strategic, political and conceptual skills, at the same time hands-on experience for written and audiovisual content 

• Energetic, curious, entrepreneurial personality, out-of-the-box and holistic thinker

• Excellent writing skills, french and english language fluent  

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
