Job Description:

Mission of the Job

To ensure the link between programms and sales to support solution design, maintenance and evolution of the products to the space Airbus Italia’s portfolio.

Main activities

He/She cooperates with the Marketing & Sales Department by supporting:

• (Primary Objective) interface between programmes and sales to support the definition of the product specification to allow their evolution to meet / satisfy the coming new customer/market expectation.  Support the engineering team to translate the specification in a new preliminary design through trade off among cost, time and performance.
• (Secondary Objectives) design/product business case / plan. This includes, but it is not limited to, scouting and analysis of market, competitors and opportunities.
• (Secondary Objective) stimulate the RFI/RFQ from the market and support to the bids function providing all the elements needs for the opportunity board and for the binding process.  
•      (Secondary Objective) Brand promotion campaign ideation (e.g. events, workshops, press, sponsorships, etc.)
•      (Secondary Objective) Product marketing activities.
•      (Secondary Objective) Technical support for Marketing materials preparation (e.g. presentations, flyers, leaflets, brochures, etc.)

Education/Training:

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering Management or others disciplines.
• Certification/Master in Business Administration is a plus

Experience:

• At least 5 years experience in space/defence products managing.
• Overall budget connected to the products portfolio up to approximately 50M
• Proven experience in successfully managing business for the ESA, ASI or Defence sector.
• Technical or management background in the domain of communication systems for satellite and/or on ground space applications is a plus.

Tool or product requirements:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Microsoft Excel (advanced)
• Microsoft Project (advanced)

Languages:

• English (fluent oral and written)
• Knowledge of the Italian language is considered a plus
