Sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots packaging equipment. Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes. Completes batch records and associated documentation. Works in an MRP environment. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines and appropriate BQMS processing standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and layout parts received from outside and internal processing for the part marking process
  • Verify planning and/or PO is complete and that all open issues have been closed
  • Request QC and supervision support as required
  • Confirm part quantities are per appropriate paperwork
  • Apply part mark as required using ink-jet machine and verify part with Quality Assurance
  • Package part per work order and customer requirements; deliver part to inventory
  • Enter jobs into Part Marking Log; maintain log and report results to supervision as required
  • Clean ink-jet machine to maintain proper flow and final marking consistency; load ink and properly dispose of spent cartridges
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

  • Familiarity with computer-based MRP data entry
  • Blueprint reading and basic math skills
  • Basic English language skills and ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience preferred but not required

Physical Activities Required to Perform Responsibilities:

  • Ability to: stand continually, walk regularly, sit continually, hear/listen carefully regularly, climb and/or balance infrequently, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally, twist occasionally at the trunk or neck, bend occasionally, reach with hands and arms regularly, taste and/ use sense of smell infrequently, use hands to manipulate, handle and/or feel in the act of performing the required responsibilities of the position.
  • Must be able to: lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Visual acuity needed for close detail work, clarity with distance, distinction with color, peripheral observation up and down/left and right, depth perception for distance and spatial relationships, sharp focus of objects brought into line of sight.
  • Mental dexterity needed to work independently while demonstrating attention to detail and continuous awareness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

    For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18.00 to $24.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
