JOB OVERVIEW
The Department of National Defence (DND) Production / Counter Support is responsible for DND Maintenance reporting including but not limited to, creation of maintenance support packages, SNAG work order creation and open / close tracking, over counter issuing of parts, Shelf-life verification of consumable products, and administrative duties required to support the Program Supervisor. This is a full-time position based onsite in Kelowna, BC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating required paperwork support packages for DND aircraft arrival and departure.
- Generating work orders.
- Generating daily reports.
- Auditing and filing paperwork.
- Managing Inventory and tools.
- Shipping and receiving.
- Confirming incoming parts are properly certified.
- Creating PO’s, billing parts to the work order.
- Tracking and updating controlled goods.
- Monitoring the movement of parts throughout KFA shops as needed for DND aircraft.
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess or able to receive an Industrial Security Clearance.
- Possess or able to receive a Controlled Good Clearance.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel
- M3 ERP experience is considered an asset
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be capable of maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
