The role:

Performance Development Coordinator

Managing the workload of our support teams and working with our third party suppliers to drive forward activity that prioritises the needs of our people.

Are you passionate about people? Do you want to support, recognise and develop others around you? In this role you will motivate and inspire the Heathrow Support Team to deliver all key activities in line with BA policy and processes and manage third party relationships. You will proactively review efficiency in processes and service delivery by working with stakeholders and the management team to identify areas for improvement and undertake regular analysis and review of performance data and key metrics, recommending solutions where needed. You will ensure high levels of compliance at Heathrow and consistently look for ways to make efficiencies. You will also be key in supporting people development activities including recruitment and onboarding.

What you’ll do:

You could work in one of the following fast-paced operational support areas:

 

Absence:

  • Supporting line managers and other managers in the terminal on the reporting processes around absence of their teams and the return-to-work process.
  • Supporting colleagues when they are away from work and offering advice on their wellbeing.
  • Investigating trends and areas of concern and working with managers to put in place resolution.
  • Holding absence meetings and working with our trade union colleagues.

 

Policy:

  • Supporting managers in upholding company policy in Heathrow
  • Administrative support for the Policy team and line managers including record keeping of meetings
  • Coordinates Recognition Roadshows across Heathrow campus and updates Above and Beyond platform

 

Compliance:

  • Oversee all compliance medical and training elements (including maintenance of ADP, CAT 1,2,3, P Permits) across Heathrow operations with a high level focus on Below Wing (Ground Operations and Critical Services)
  • Proactively review efficiency in processes and service delivery by working with internal and external stakeholders (including HAL,BAHS) and management team to identify areas for improvement
  • Undertake regular analysis and review of performance data and key metrics, recommending solutions where needed.

 

Pass Management:

  • Upholding compliance in processes around the issuance and approval of airport authority passes
  • Providing customer service to the Heathrow community on passes, the procedure, lead times and requirements
  • Relationship management with Heathrow Airport Limited team
  • Looking ahead and managing the programme of future ID renewals to ensure continued service in the terminal.

 

Recruitment & Contracts:

  • Supporting stakeholders in Heathrow to build teams to achieve their objectives under A Better BA
  • Key relationship building with all Heathrow operational leaders to understand what is required from each campaign, then looking after the resource approval, launch, outcomes and contracting of new colleagues into teams.
  • Recruitment programme management to ensure we have the right people in place at the right times and looks for process efficiencies to better meet business needs.
  • Administrative support for pay queries and FAQ’s.

  • Can work using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and can understand various computer applications.

Your experience:

  • Experienced People Supervisor/Manager
  • Experienced in Office 365
  • Working in a unionised environment within a complex matrixed business.
