Job overview and responsibilities

  • An AdTech architect plays a strategic role in designing and overseeing the implementation of advertising technology solutions
  • Responsibilities include creating scalable and efficient architecture, integrating new technologies, and ensuring compatibility with diverse platforms
  • This role requires deep expertise in AdTech, a strong understanding of system scalability, and the ability to provide technical leadership for the development team
  • Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AdTech, influencing the continuous improvement of our systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the seamless operation of our ad-serving infrastructure
  • Design implementation roadmap and Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Analyze all quality attributes such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, reliability, and cost of a product
  • Translate technical project details (e.g., the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software) into a language that management and non-technical stakeholders can understand

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in an information technology solutions architecture role
  • Extensive experience in adTech, with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale ad delivery systems
  • In-depth knowledge of adTech standards and protocols (VAST, VPAID, OpenRTB) and real-time bidding (RTB)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Experience with cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools for performance monitoring and optimization
  • Previous experience in architecting solutions for programmatic advertising and ad exchanges
  • Experience with online user data privacy a plus – including best practices, and Consent / Identity Management tools
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
