Basic Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in technical fields of study such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Security, with 15 or more years of relevant applied experience.
Prospective team members for this job posting must have skills in:
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Successful Principal Investigator (PI) on multiple S&T and operational CR&D programs
- Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and mentor S&T individuals and teams to project and career success
- Demonstrated experience successfully creating, defining, executing, and delivering innovation for Science and Technology (S&T) and operational CR&D programs
- Demonstrated ability to shepherd technology through the applied research lifecycle
- Technical community connectivity (IC, DoD, Academia, or Contractors)
- Strong domain expertise in state-of-the-art technologies and capabilities
- Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Skills:
Developing cyber capabilities requires a broad spectrum of experience. While we do not anticipate that everyone will have skill and expertise in all related technical areas, we do desire that team mates have deep expertise in one or more of the areas listed below. If you do not have experience in these areas, you will be assessed for your ability to develop these skills:
- Applied research leadership skills
- Embedded systems development
- Compiler Design and Implementation
- IDS and PSP Design and Implementation
- Static and dynamic reverse engineering on x86/x8664, MIPS, ARM, or PowerPC
- Vulnerability Analysis of source code or binaries
- Machine-learning/Artificial Intelligence
- Cyber/IO/CNO R&D
If you have demonstrated a passion for cyber technologies, are self-motivation, and adept at research and prototype development, you will excel as a part of our team.
As a part of our team, you can anticipate defining applied research topics, authoring technical portions of proposals and papers, executing applied research explorations, developing customer relationships that lead to S&T efforts, and presenting results to stakeholders.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
