Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Product Owner Digital Connected Aircraft Platforms (d/f/m).
This Product Owner will be part of the Digital Connected Aircraft Platforms Team (DIIA), which is the digital partner for the connected Aircraft Business Line (SX) as a part of the extended engineering together with System Engineering and Cabin & Cargo Engineering.
In this sense the DIIA Team is tasked to take a key role in the Connected Aircraft business ambition, with strong growth objectives. Its activities are today mainly driven by the enablement of Flight Ops, Fleet Efficiency and Skywise Predictive maintenance, Cabin & Cargo Businesses like In Flight Entertainment & Connectivity enablement or Ground Ops within Airspace Link, FCMS and HBC&43; initiatives.
The Open Software Platform (OSP) is an on-board hosting environment for non-certified applications, complemented by a ground DevOps platform. The Airbus OSP can host apps developed by third parties that provide services to airlines and passengers. The ground DevOps platform aims to accelerate the time-to-market of any new digital solution. This will open up new business models for Airbus. As part of the OSP lies: the OSP Orchestration through Kubernetes (K3S) configured through OSP HELM Chart the Software & Content Delivery System (SCDS) which is an end-to-end component with a leg onboard and leg on ground.
The main responsibilities of this role will be leading the development and deployment of the Software & Content Delivery System and the Open Software Platform HELM Chart throughout the product / service lifecycle. As well as acting as a SCDS Product Owner for the Cabin Information Network System (CINS) Agile Release Train (ART).
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You will lead the digital development, integration for SCDS & OSP HELM Chart from definition through deployment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables, coordinate the release schedule and resources required.
You will act as a product owner for software developments.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and manage expectations.
You will manage feedback from the OSP ecosystem.
Desired skills and qualifications
Hands-on software development experience
Demonstrated success in managing IT projects
Knowledge of agile techniques like user stories, continuous integration, test-driven development, continuous testing, and automated testing
Initial experience in UX methodologies
Knowledge of solution architecture, UNIX, virtualization, and cloud technologies
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong business acumen and understanding of digital services operations
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
