Product Technical Architect - Workplace Adoption & Automation

The Workplace Products team, part of the ITSO organisations Enterprise & Employee Products team, develops and manages workplace solutions to enhance employee experience. From devices to collaboration tools and automation, we enable more effective ways of working, boosting engagement and agility, ultimately enhancing performance and competitiveness.

What you’ll be doing 

As a Product Technical Architect, youll play a vital role in designing and defining architecture guardrails for autonomous and scalable Workplace Products. Your work supports Product Leads and Engineers, ensuring products meet user and business needs. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality Workplace Products and keeping easyJet ahead in technological advancements.

Reporting to a Product Lead and driving Workplace architecture management, youll oversee various critical areas, including Workplace Product Design & Architecture, Security & Compliance by Design, Systems Integration, System Optimisation & Improvement, Technology Evaluation & Selection, Research & Innovation Management, and Architecture Community of Practice. Additionally, youll support data management, engineering management, demand assessment, disaster recovery management and value optimisation, ensuring our products are robust and efficient.

What you’ll need to do the role

We are seeking a skilled individual to join us as a Product Technical Architect at easyJet, bringing extensive experience from the IT sector. You should have a strong understanding in Workplace Product Architecture, including technical, enterprise, and application architecture, along with cloud solutions expertise. Proficiency in IT service management (ITSM) and familiarity with different modelling languages such as UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, Essentials Project, Lucidchart, Draw IO, etc. Experience in agile DevOps methods and managing third-party suppliers is crucial, with a focus on delivering business outcomes and enhancing employee experience. Specific to this role, you should demonstrate expertise in automation technology, DEX tools or endpoint management, and key technologies like ITSM tools, network monitoring, Microsoft Active Directory, Desktop and application virtualisation, Group Policy, Microsoft Windows (10, 11, 365), Apple macOS, Microsoft 365, Databases and queries.

Location and Hours of Work

This full-time role of 40 hours a week will be based in Luton, we support hybrid working and spend three days per week in the office. Some occasional travel may be required.
