Job Description:
The V2X Mobile Sensors program performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for a ship based mobile platform with complex multi-mission radar/communication systems which have an elaborate command & control computing structure, along with communication interfaces and support sub-systems. These systems and the program assigned employees, which include bargaining members (union), are tasked to primarily operate in the Pacific Commands (PACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Our program ensures the COBRA KING (CK) radar and communication systems are Fully Mission Capable (FMC) 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, and capable of supporting mission operations on short-notice. CK platform is on the USNS Howard O. Lorenzen.

V2X Mobile Sensors Management Office (MSMO) is seeking a Program Security Manager with a diverse background of capabilities to mitigate risk to physical security through the implementation and sustainment of a security strategy that secures sensitive data and critical assets from current and/or emerging threats while ensuring compliance with the applicable policies and regulations for the program office located at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), FL and our deployed team and systems onboard the USNS Howard O. Lorenzen within the PCAOM AOR. This role will primarily work at the program office facilitating collaboration with the Key Subcontractors, Customer Team, Program and Functional Support team members.

Position is located at Patrick SFB, FL.

This position involves OCONUS travel in support of vessel requirements; ~10

  • Additionally, potential for extended at sea deployment onboard vessel ~30 days a year
Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Implement security procedures in compliance with AFTAC/SO guidance for access to controlled areas that includes maintaining an updated access control roster that documents authorized individuals, both permanent party and visitors, and required clearances for each controlled area.
  • Support to the program in the development and sustainment of a Program Protection Plan (PPP)
  • Oversee Automated Information System (AIS) Security IAW Government requirements.
  • Oversee Communications Security (COMSEC) Operation, Control, & Account Management that ensures the establishment and maintaining of COMSEC accounts IAW the AFMAN 17-1302-O series instructions and associated directives and materials.
  • Develop and oversee a program led Computer Resources Management Plan (CRMP)
  • Additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills:

  • Existing DOD TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Leadership experience for a geographically diverse team
  • Leadership and mentoring experience with proven results.
  • Knowledge and experience with Company policies & procedures with emphasis on Naval communication equipment/requirements and front-line leadership.
  • Current U.S. Passport with minimum of 1 year prior to expiration and 3 blank pages
