Description:This position requires a level of effort for security tasks in the following security disciplines in support of the Facility Security Officer (FSO):
• Annual Security Inspections & Preparations
• Insider Threat Mitigation Process
• Safeguarding Classified Information
• Classified Document Marking Implementation
• Reproduction and Destruction Implementation
• Badging and Access Control
• Transmission of Classified Information
• Security Education, Training and Awareness
• Classified Material and Equipment Control
• Classified Shipments
• Asset Control and Accountability

The Successful candidate will be responsible for aspects of Program Security to include personnel, access control, visitor control, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in the NISPOM and other government and corporate documents and guidance in high ops tempo government contracting environment. Candidate will interface with leadership, business unit management, engineering staff, customer reps and DCSA to assist the FSO in design and implement security measures. The candidate will support the FSO and conduct internal audits and inspections of various security sections for policy/procedural compliance and development of process improvements and risk analysis. Responsible for coordinating with program POCs, RMS Security Classification Management Team, Contracts and Sourcing for data sharing approvals. Assist with identifying critical assets and developing Tailored Security Plans for the programs. Ensure security requirements are met for lab tours. Work is to be performed under general direction of the FSO and PMO in determining objectives and priorities of assignments. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
-Must be a U.S. Citizen
-Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
-Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
