Job Summary

To support the day to day program operations of the business and be responsible for the administration and activities associated with control and monitoring of progress, scope, cost and resource management within the program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan the execution of repair jobs based on customer priority, resource availability and access to the aircraft assembly line
  • Point of Contact with customer for on-site scheduling
  • Intensively liaise with customer in daily meetings
  • Maintain the work planning database
  • Coordinate priorities internally between Operations team: Manufacturing engineering, logistics and team leads
  • Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards are applied and that their assigned areas are a model of a world class healthy and safe working environment
  • Active involvement in problem solving and process improvements
  • Reporting of KPIs and status
Job Requirements:
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • CEGEP / College degree, B.A. preferred in related field. (Supply Chain, logistics, industrial management, aerospace, or other related field)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics, production planning, or other relevant experience.
  • Bilingual French and English verbal and written

Preferred: 

  • GKN Experience 
  • Superior Excel skills
  • Experience in planning and reporting
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment
  • Must be willing to work in Mirabel full time
  • Qualifications in an Aerospace discipline
  • A passion for the Aerospace industry and lean management
