The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Zero Emission Aircraft development and build competences and skills in the technology domain.

In order to support the Finance & Administration Team in Taufkirchen, a temporary vacancy for a “Purchasing Support Officer (d/f/m)” has arisen at Aerostack GmbH.

The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of Finance and Administration

Main Tasks and Accountabilities:

  • Support the management of purchase requests and raise documentation as required

  • Support the internal processes to improve our cost, quality and compliance in the purchasing activity

  • Drive compliance to contract terms & conditions for Supplier orders and in all communication towards Suppliers

  • Align across our company functions (Programs, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, etc.) for all required purchased products

  • Ensure that the company ethics and compliance standards are clearly explained and aligned with our Supplier base

  • Work with representatives of other functions in accordance with our internal processes to ensure accurate ordering of items

  • Contribute to our procurement and operational profitability

  • Efficiently communicate with Suppliers and key Stakeholders

  • Proactively manage supply chain risks and deviations

  • Support the day-to-day administration of Purchasing requests and orders

  • Identify and support cost reduction ideas 

Required Skills:

  • 5-year degree level in Engineering or Business school.

  • Comfortable working with different IT systems and platforms (Google Suite, Excel, SAP Business …)

  • Experience in supplier relationship management and procurement, Stakeholder management

  • Effective negotiator with excellent communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage confidential/sensitive information with care and attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Language skills: German fluent, English business fluent
