Job Description

 

The Repair and Overhaul (R&O) Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all aspects of the repair and overhaul of components on the DND PAV & AVS Programs. This position reports directly to the Manager, Supply Chain, C-130 Programs.

 

Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Canadian Government Security Clearances.

Major Responsibilities & Duties

Ensure the repairs and overhauls of DND components are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and existing Supplier Agreements.

  • Provide oversight and direction to all repair facilities related to repairs, overhauls, and airworthiness requirements, including the induction of components per the Annual Forecast
  • Develop and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual supply health metrics pertaining to on-time delivery, budget status, outstanding components, and pre-installation failures
  • Develop and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables
  • Ensure that proper inventory transactions and component movement takes place within the DND Supply System (DRMIS) for all outsourced and incoming DND components
  • Lead all R&O stocktaking activities at all repair facilities
  • Assist in customer audits and investigations
  • Validate and investigate all pre-installation failures and warranty issues as reported by the customer or via operations

Liaise directly with all functional groups and customers, both internal and external, such as Cascade Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Programs and DND Representatives.

Ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as required.

 

 

Core Skills

 

  • Excellent communication skills: fluent written and verbal; English is mandatory
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with the fundamental concepts of Account management, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Comfortable working alone and collaboratively with other teams and departments
  • Ability to relate the requirements of the position to the overall program
  • Ability to produce high level results in a timely manner
  • Safe work practices
Education

 

Certification in Supply Chain management or other relevant education considered an asset

Experience

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience, or a combination of relevant experience, training or education
  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Account management experience considered an asset
  • CFSS/DRMIS experience considered an asset
