About the role:
You will prepare the daily allocation based on the manpower and equipment availability on Resource Management System and monitor the activities involving staff and resources. As well as plan and monitor the daily operational disruptions, imitate changes to the allocation and communicate the requirements to all relevant stakeholders to maintain On Time Performance.
- Check the manpower availability on Resource Management System as per the updated roster and monitor.
- Responsible for checking irregularities related to staff reporting late, and report the same to the immediate Supervisor. If a situation demands changes in the staff allocation, the necessary change should be initiated and communicated through the radio to all concerned staff. An acknowledgment should be obtained for the information relayed.
- Ensure daily allocation requirements are planned and prepared before the end of the shift +03 hours to ensure all flights are covered with required staff and resources.
- Avail a confirmation of all task assigned to different resources and confirm allocated resources reported.
- Effectively plan the overtime requirements of resources and maintain the operational overtime records in roster control before signing off the respective shift.
- Ensure all flights/tasks are displayed on Real Time Graphical User Interface based on the flight schedule published on Doha International Airport staff pages.
- Constantly monitor radio communication and alert messages in Real Time Graphical User Interface and take appropriate action wherever applicable.
QualificationsAbout you:
- An ideal candidate will have a minimum of Trade or Vocational Qualification and 3 years of job-related experience
- Experience pertaining to planning of allocations and/or schedules.
- Excellent spoken and written English language communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Airport communication systems and awareness of ground handling and safe aircraft handling procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fair knowledge of operational requirements and functioning
Preferred
- Knowledge of using various Resource Management Systems.
