Synopsis
As the Talent Acquisition Partner for Technical Recruitment, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting and hiring technical profiles to join our team. You will work closely, and partner with, the Tech/Ops team to source and select candidates globally, aligning with our employer branding efforts, our TA KPIs and ensuring an outstanding candidate experience at all times.
Accountabilities
- Execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified technical staff within a dynamic and highly competitive talent landscape
- Utilize industry networks, job boards, social media and other channels to source potential candidates
- Develop understanding of key target markets for technical candidates based on data and metrics
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge around competitor airline activity
- Proactively establish and nurture relationships with prospective candidate pools
- Make recommendations on location strategy for technical roadshows
- Lead and participate in the selection process for technical candidates, ensuring a fair, consistent, rigorous and equitable process is followed
- Coordinate and conduct assessments, including group assessment centres, technical competency tests and interviews, alongside key business stakeholders
- Advise and guide Technical management team on best practice assessment and selection methodology
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing guidance and support
- Focus on continuously improving the attraction and selection methodology to ensure we target and hire the best technical talent in the market
Education & Experience
- 3-5 Years’ experience within Talent Acquisition in a complex global environment, ideally for technical roles
- Previous airline experience is desirable
- Proficient in assessment and selection methodology (eg. design and facilitation of assessment centres, competency based interviewing, psychometrics)
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage key stakeholders with credibility
- Ability to lead and manage recruitment campaigns, with a particular focus on cultural awareness
- Ambassadorial qualities with the ability to represent Etihad in a professional, engaging and personable manner
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decisions
