A position of Reporting Application Developer has just been opened within Airbus India. Your
mission is to implement technical development of user stories in the context of the Operational
Reporting and Strategic Reporting for Aircraft Production Planning. You will contribute to build
and operate a reporting solution aiming at Integrated Business Planning for Aircraft delivery.
Within the Airbus Commercial Information Management (IM) organization, the jobholder will
contribute to the success of one IM core product. The overall management of the production
planning of A/C from customer offer, contract signature to aircraft delivery in coordination with
Sales, Engineering, Operations and Delivery Center functions. The proposed job is at the
crossroads of this very challenging strategy and the digital transformation of Airbus as a whole.
The Candidate will create prototypes for report and work with product managers, business
users, and solution architects to industrialize these disruptive products. The product will evolve
incrementally following Airbus agile development and progressively entering operational mode.
The following methodology is based on SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
The vision is to create a Reporting Solution considering our suppliers, worldwide production
network and customers. This permits to accelerate the business decision process, provide
better accuracy and better understanding of impacts on other business processes.
The Reporting tools targeted today are Spotfire and Qlik Sense. The data are hosted in different
repository (Data Hub on AWS Cloud, ORACLE dataBase, Skywise)
You will be operationally attached to the IM India organization supporting the Programme
Product & Service Line (based in Toulouse and Hamburg). Travels to France (Toulouse),
Germany (Hamburg) are likely to happen for your mission based on project needs.

Must have skills:
● Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information
Technology, or relevant field with 6&43; years of total development experience
● Strong experience on using and customize reporting tools like QLIK SENSE and/or
SPOTFIRE in different environments (Cloud, database, file)

● Strong coding abilities using SQL, MySQL
● Important to have Knowledge with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP): building and deploying
cloud solutions
● Experience of server-side development, database design (RDBMS)
● Good to have knowledge of SSH, SFTP,
● Proven track record as software developer acting across the entire development lifecycle
● Strong experience in test automation and test-driven development methods
● Working experience in Agile Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban projects
● DevOps orientation, knowledge of continuous integration frameworks and some of the
following products/tools: Docker, Nexus, GitHub, Atlassian JIRA, Splunk, ElasticSearch,
Ansible, etc.
● Advanced level of English
● Ensuring software code knowledge and well shared inside the team and with other
technical leader
● Quick learner who can learn a new technology/skill/application and convey the same to
development teams(mainly be the first point of contact for all dev queries)
Good to have skills:
● Already experienced working in remote with colleagues based in EU is a plus
● Excellent and adaptive communication capabilities with diverse audiences
● Test automation knowledge (XUnit, Jira Xray, Postman, Cucumber, Selenium, Cyprus)

Responsibilities
1. Designing, developing and overseeing developers, testing, documenting, publishing,
supporting and operating the IT product
2. Deploying highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored solutions
3. Implementing test automation covering multiple test aspects, like unit testing, functional
testing, security testing, load and performance testing depending on business need
4. Developing, updating and use CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of
applications across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production
5. Ensuring software code knowledge and well shared inside the team and with other
technical leaders of similar products
6. Coaching, mentoring and enabling other developers and inline with the technical leader

The role will have the following key outputs:
● Strong link with the Airbus IM organization
● As a self-organised development team, strong collaboration with the Airbus PO (Product
Owner, based in EU)
● Proactive in providing guidance & inputs for the roadmap
● Ensure thanks to the software architecture and quality in coding that Dev and Ops are at
the expected service level
● Ensure that Agile principles and practices are well applied (customer intimacy, …)
