About the role
We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our quickly growing Discover Qatar team as a Reservations Officer.
In this role, you will lead the DQ reservations team, provide seamless operations and services to clients (B2B and B2C) and promote Qatar as a premium tourism destination. You will enhance the customer service experience through formation and ongoing optimization of operational procedures, resources utilization, and manpower rostering.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:
- Plan optimum use of staff availability through effective job allocation and distribution of work resources to increase efficiency and productivity
- Lead and monitor dedicated DQ Operations Team to ensure excellent service quality and response time
- Monitor all the incoming e-mails from the customer / agent / station and take actions to ensure that all requests are handled within the agreed time frame as per DQ Service Level Agreement
- Work effectively with DQ internal teams (Sales, Product) to develop unique product & program proposals according to specific client requirements
- Monitor the DQ Operations team effective use of DQ booking system, Visa Application platform, and all related systems, and escalate any issues in a timely manner
- Oversee Visa Processing tasks to ensure the visas issued are as per MOI standards and SLAs
- Identify prevalent trends within DQ Operations and communicate areas of concern to the Line Manager for timely identification of potential issues.

Qualifications
About You
We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and tourism back office systems
- Data analysis expertise, which includes tools like PowerBi, Zendesk and other
- Experience in team management and manpower planning
- Destination knowledge of Qatar
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- DMC reservations/operations experience is an advantage.
