The role:

Resource Delivery Executive

Now is an exciting time to join the Resource Delivery team within Operations Planning. You will be accountable for delivering the right level of resource for operationally critical teams across our Cabin Crew, Flight Crew and Heathrow business areas.

What you’ll do:
  • Working as part of a wider team, youll take a set of resource requirements for your area and review skills, shift times, and resource supply to optimally meet those requirements, supporting the delivery of a robust flying schedule for our workforce and, ultimately, our customers.
  • Youll also deal with on-the-day queries from the frontline workforce, collaborating with our Resource Allocation teams to react swiftly to any on-the-day events crafting a resourcing risk to the operation, and working together to reach the best outcome.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:

Working alongside our planning teams, the ideal candidate will be eager to develop, with a digital attitude and the ability to go above and beyond to support team members, frontline staff and customers. As our operation runs 24/7, it will be vital for the role-holder to work a rostered shift pattern consisting of earlies, day and late shifts. This role is based at Waterside, our corporate head office located near Heathrow Terminal 5.

Your experience:
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and organisational skills, and whilst a strong background in resourcing is desirable
  • If you’re able to demonstrate the key skills and proficiencies required for the role.
  • You should be able to work independently and as part of a team and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with various departments and stakeholders across the organisation.
