Job Outline
· Manage the Sales efforts to ensure achievement of the revenue sales target in accordance with company’s commercial objectives /CSPs.
· Anticipate competitor activities by monitoring market trends, initiate and recommend strategies in a timely manner to retain commercial initiatives and remain on target.
· Lead and guide the Outdoor Sales Team in negotiations, overall performance, and account management using tools like agency/corporate deals and promotional activities to optimize return on sales, both on leisure, VFR, MICE and corporate segments.
· Build and maintain goodwill and relationship with customers (Travel agents and Corporates), the key market players, within all the distribution channels.
· Initiate and attend EK as well as industry functions on a regular basis to establish contacts, network and promote the interests of EK, out of office hours as required.
· Prepare monthly and annual Sales & Marketing reports to ensure Country Manager is kept well informed of market conditions, trends and competitor activities and take initiatives as appropriate.
· Develop and execute the Country business plan in agreement with Country Manager
· Ensure that product USPs (Unique Selling Points) and promotional plans are communicated and implemented effectively to give the greatest impact on the market.
· Develop market segments to ensure diversity in the traffic mix uplifted
