Your area of responsibility will extend to deep technology root cause analysis, performance improvement and source code auditing. 

The Airbus’ Information Management (IM) Function is looking for an efficient SAP HANA Native Architect to join its teams.

The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology. 

As an Airbus employee integrated within a subcontracting development team,  your role will be to support as Architect on new topics or needs from business, by structuring new solutions and validating the architecture.

The SAP Hana native Architect for IM India is responsible for the development, documentation and maintenance of the overall Information Management (IM) technical and functional architecture. 

The position will also need to assess the existing landscape of the applications with respect to technical & functional and align them to the best practices for integration & security. 

This position maintains a holistic view of the organization’s strategy, processes, information and IM Configuration Items. By balancing technological opportunities with business (process) requirements and Airbus corporate IM standards, the SAP hana native Architect proposes and guides IM solutions linking the business mission, strategy and processes to the IM India strategy.

Qualification & Experience:

Expert level:

Engineering graduate or Masters with 10&43; years of total experience at least  in HANA / UI5 Development.

Minimum 1 year of experience in SAP ABAP development.

Interfaces:

Able to design, develop, debug interfaces to and from System

Design, develop and maintain custom developments in SAP

Substantial experience in performance tuning programs that are time/resource intensive

Good ABAP on Hana Skills with Object oriented programming and ODATA

Experience in working with code versioning &61;> notes internes Hanastudio , Web IDE, GIT Hub

Performance Monitoring on SAP HANA

Good Knowledge on HANA Objects ( Table Functions , SQL, CV, Database Procedure, ...)

Good Knowledge in HTML5, Java Script, ABAP coding, JSON and XML…

Data visualization (SAC , Qlik…)

Excellent verbal communication skills. 

Good problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Experience in modeling and graphic representations.

Intermediate level:

  • Proficiency with Scrum, SAFe framework and rituals. 

  • Agile solutions management suite like Version One. 

  • Good experience in Team grooming and training. 

  • Good organizational and project management skills. 

  • Process orientation and organised person who believes in knowledge sharing  

  • Experience with cloud platforms  (ex. Workday, ServiceNow, SAC, Remedy etc.) to on premises integrations

Good to have skills - 

  • DevOps knowledge is a plus. 

  • Data analytics and visualization is an added advantage

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysis, design, and development of IT Master plans and governing architecture changes based on a current versus future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Suggesting ideas to optimize costs in IT and business leadership & provide relative inputs to versus buy strategies 

  • Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.

  • Leads, challenges and coordinates discussions with stakeholders relative to architecture.

  • Participates in strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.

  • Provides input into allocation of IT investment through the review of development (business and technical) initiatives within the context of Enterprise Architecture.

  • Understands the full data landscape, its location and defines how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing the data in some way.

 Planning and Design

  • Define the target architectures, and the roadmaps and timescales for these architectures to ensure the most effective use of technology and digital services

  • Works with the IM management team to develop and execute the Enterprise Architecture Strategy.

  • Aligns IM strategy and planning with the organisation’s business goals.

  • Ensures that the overall IM architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its quality and in particular its security through close collaboration through the IM Security Officer.

  • Works with Functional Architects as well as other IM team members to capture and document the “as is” IM enterprise architecture across Airbus Group India.

  • Establishes and maintains links with counterparts across the globe in order to build / maintain an understanding of, participate in and leverage central and global Airbus IM enterprise architecture.

  • Builds and maintains the Airbus Group India “to be” enterprise architecture and related roadmap. Participates in and manages Architecture Working Groups for the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture.

  • Evaluates and shares best practices, lessons learned and constantly updates the technical architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and up-coming Airbus initiatives as well as supplier products and solutions.

Project Planning and Support

  • Works with the Head of Operational Excellence and contributes to developing the IM Master Plan and project portfolio. define the target architectures, and the roadmaps and timescales for these architectures to ensure the most effective use of technology and digital services

  • Supports business improvement opportunities and creates proposals, provide an assurance role, ensuring that all architecture activities and deliverables (in-house and external outsourced) are produced to a high quality and are consistent with existing standards, policies and strategies 

  • Leads and/or participates in project opportunity and feasibility studies up to project launch.  Recommends the most suitable technical architecture and defines the solution at a high level and if necessary and requested also at detailed level.

  • Ability to take a lead role in the full life cycle delivery of the technical solutions for Business projects from initial concept, requirements gathering, specification, design, delivery, acceptance into operational support. 

  • Collaborates with business to understand the requirements and prepare project Architecture Requirement Dossiers (ARD). Determination and promulgation of the appropriate frameworks, standards, libraries and approach to be adopted, in the translation of this architecture into working code and to keep these up-to-date 

  • Conducts post-implementation reviews to evaluate benefits accrued from new processes and systems
