Bristow Netherlands BV has an exciting opportunity for a SAR Nurse to join a dynamic SAR team, responsible for delivering helicopter SAR services for the
Netherlands Coastguard.
The SAR Nurse is a qualified and competent ambulance nurse who holds a qualification as Technical Crew Member Medical and will be an integral part of the NLSAR helicopter crew’s composition. You will perform your duties in the SAR helicopter as well as regular EMS shifts via outsourcing by our medical partner, Dutch Medical Group. EMS shifts will be scheduled with RAV-partners in several regions.
During the SAR helicopter shifts you will need to be winched during
all sorts of weather to moving vessels, windfarms and be able to
operate independently on offshore locations. The Winchman will be
responsible for your safekeeping.
Essential Requirements:
- Right to permanently live and work in the Netherlands
- Full EU driving licence
- Fully qualified Netherlands registered Ambulance
- Nurse with:
- BIG registration (gecertificeerd ambulanceverpleegkundige met geldige BIGregistratie)
- In possession of a valid Certificate of Competence (bekwaamheidsverklaring)
- Current Netherlands passport holder
- Native Dutch speaker
- LPE English level 4
- EASA Class 2 Medical
- The ability to obtain a certificate of no objection (Verklaring van geen bezwaar)
- The ability to undertake and pass our physical fitness test requirements
Preferred Requirements:
- Experienced in (remote) prehospital care as a solo responder
- Advanced Life Support
- Anaesthesia, Trauma and Critical Care Course
- Trauma Nursing Core Course
Additional information:
The ability to travel to both of the SAR bases and the several RAV
locations, remaining flexible and adaptable are key attributes required
for this role.
