Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing and standardizing the certification processes and testing methodologies across Safety Critical Systems on various platforms within Aeronautics, including F-16, F-22, AMMM, F-35 and ADP.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Manage and lead strategic projects focused on improving and standardizing the certification processes across multiple platforms (F-16, F-22, F-35, AMMM, and ADP) in alignment with industry standards such as DO-178, 516, SEAL, and Hybrid. Collaborate closely with the CE Office to ensure seamless integration and simplify certification procedures, contributing to enhanced workforce development.

Architecture Enhancement: Drive architectural improvements to enable the integration of multi-core processors for safety-critical applications on updated platforms (F-16, F-22, F-35, AMMM and ADP). Ensure that the architecture aligns with the latest technological advancements while maintaining safety and certification standards.

Technical Support and Guidance: Provide expert technical support and guidance for modernized safety-critical software and testing approaches for future platforms (F-16, F-22, F-35, AMMM and ADP). Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure the continuous improvement of safety-critical systems.

Portfolio Management: Manage, lead, and collaborate on projects within the safety-critical systems portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Implement a best of 3 project strategy to optimize outcomes and drive innovation within the safety-critical systems domain.

Basic Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree or above in a computer science, computer engineering or related engineering discipline
• 15+ years of software development experience with multiple technologies
• Experience with DO-178, -516, and SEAL process

***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 5 years required to be considered.***

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
