This position is located at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina. The selected candidate will serve as a Security Generalist for the F-35 Program. The selected candidate will be required to interact daily with key GOV stakeholders and members of Active Duty USMC F-35 Squadrons with confidence, poise and professionalism. The selected candidate should be comfortable making decisions autonomously and successfully operating in a fast-paced military flying operations environment. Previous experience in military leadership and decision-making roles would be beneficial.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-Physical security of assigned F-35 facilities at MCAS Beaufort.
-Security participation in the Pilot Training Center and USMC F-35 Squadrons integration and sustainment activities.
-F-35 specific Special Access Program support, and the overall execution of contractual security requirements.
-Control access to all F-35 facilities, providing escort when required, and assisting in the planning, evaluation and execution of program security operations related to Special Access Program Facilities and Operations IAW current program and regulatory guidance.
- Performing other Security Generalist duties in support of key GOV stakeholder, the F-35 Pilot Training Center, and USMC F-35 Squadrons as required
On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift, a non-standard work schedule, and at any of the local F-35 Facilities in order to support mission requirements. This may differ from the primary shift/schedule/work location being hired for.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.
5. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
6. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.
7. Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
8. Works well independently and in group settings.
Desired Skills:
1. Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.
2. Experience working on Special Access Programs.
3. Prior experience with GSA containers and document control.
4. Experience working in a dynamic Military environment and be able to successfully interact daily with senior ranking USMC commissioned officers and key GOV stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism.
5. Comfortable making decisions autonomously and successfully operating in a military flying operations environment. Previous experience in military leadership and decision-making roles would be beneficial.
6. Familiarization with Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
8. Access Control and Physical Security experience, ability to perform assigned tasks, and 3 Years of experience.
9. Ability to multi-task and remain organized.
10. Experience with Personnel Security duties and responsibilities.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
