Description:Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services is seeking a Security Rep. / Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to join the Program Security team in Troy, AL.

The selected candidate will perform duties as a CPSO for a large program in both Collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) capacities. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of security to include, personnel, physical, policy guidance research, transmission, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in 5205.07 Vol 1-4, 32 CFR Part 117, ICD 705, and others as applicable.

Duties also include program briefings, indoctrinations, presentations, completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troys climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Floridas Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
Basic Qualifications:
• Special Access Program (SAP) / Industrial Security experience.
• This position requires applicants to have a final Top Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years.
• Working knowledge of DISS, and the SAPNP.
• Working knowledge of DoD policies.

Candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

• Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.
• Knowledge of JADE, DISS and Personnel Security.
• Understanding knowledge of current DoD 5205 Manuals

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
