A vacancy for a

Simulation Architect (d/f/m)

has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

We develop top notch, high fidelity simulations for a variety of aircraft, supporting the entire development life cycle. We have the technical responsiblity for all our simulators. We design, develop, integrate and deliver complex training & eningeering simulations to our customers.

You will be responsible for defining and implementing complex simulation architectures for the next generation of Simulations. You will represent us in international programs.

Your tasks and responsibilities

● Design and implement complex architectures for Engineering & Training Simulations to support the aircraft programs
● Translate high-level system and system-of-system requirements into tangible architectures
● Breakdown architectures into work packages
● Coordinate our contributions closely with the Chief Engineering Office
 

Desired skills and qualifications

● Degree in Computer Science or similar

● At least 5 to 8 years of professional experience required

● Extensive experience in Simulation architecture, design and development

● Experience in System Integration Verification & Validation
● Experience in the aviation / simulation / defense industry would be beneficial

● Excellent English (negotiation level)
