We are seeking a Residential Electric Meter Installer tojoin our team in Ontario. As a key member of our installation crew, youll beresponsible for efficiently installing residential electric meters across theprovince, braving both hot and cold weather conditions. Your role will involvetroubleshooting defective or problematic meters and utilizing cutting-edge datacollection tools through handheld tablet computers. Interacting professionallywith local utility customers, youll uphold the highest standards of accuracyand customer service.
Safety is paramount in our operations, and youll beexpected to strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, conductingthorough hazard and risk assessments for each task.
Honeywell offerscomprehensive training, certifications, and the necessary equipment to ensureyoure equipped for success.
Travelthroughout Ontario is a part of this role.
YOU MUST HAVE
- High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 education)
- Valid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
WE VALUE
- Prior experience in residential electric meter installation
- Proficiency as a meter reader
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Ability to thrive in diverse outdoor environments
- Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to work independently
- Customer service experience is highly desirable
- Basic computer skills are advantageous
