Solution Architect - easyJet holidays
Were building a new team at easyJet holidays that will be an essential part of our growth.
As a Solution Architect, youll be responsible for the assurance and design of key products that are being developed by easyJet holidays. Youll work with multiple squads responsible for developing our Products and liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure that the design meets their needs. This is an important role, as youll be responsible for the end-to-end solution architecture definition for complex solutions.
Youll be part of our Architecture Guild, which brings together the various solution design roles across the company and our suppliers to ensure best practice and continuous improvement of our architecture process. Youll report in Dan, our Head of Architecture, and you’ll work with technical leads covering each product under development.
In terms of your job purpose, youll produce high-quality, comprehensive Solution Blueprint materials demonstrating a balance of different functional & non-functional drivers and requirements. Youll also provide architectural guidance to third-party vendors and product teams to assure the delivered solution realises the design.
What you’ll bring to the team:
We are looking for Solution Architects with experience in designing and implementing a range of solutions, such as large, multi-technology, multi-vendor solutions, eCommerce platforms, CRM platforms, cloud-native solutions, process orchestration, airline/tour operator systems, and content management. It’s not essential to have experience with all of these and we’d still love to hear from you even if you don’t.
You will need to have experience in integrating with third-party service provider/supplier APIs and have practical experience in agile project delivery aligned to high-quality solution architecture. You should be able to demonstrate experience in designing high-quality software solutions that align with business needs and timescales.
You will be actively participating in a maturing architecture practice/community, so it would be great if you have previously done so. You should be confident in presenting solution architecture and strategy to both IT and business audiences. Being able to understand complex concepts and communicate them in a simple manner is a must-have skill, and you should be able to communicate well on both a business and technical level to all levels of the organisation.
Finally, you’ll need to have a high degree of integrity and be someone who does what they say they will.

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model with two in-office days per week.
