Solutions Architect m/f

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Solutions Architect m/f to join our Digital Department based in Toulouse, France.

As a Solutions Architect you will join our Tech Data Domain which ecosystem aims at author and deliver all technical data/documentations to operate the Aircraft. It is a core domain at the cross road between the engineering world and our customers / airlines world.

As a Solutions Architect you will drive IT solutions for the Customer Services department, focusing on Aircraft Technical Data domain (PSL). 

The main responsibility is to understand the business needs and strategic objectives and propose the corresponding IT strategy and solutions for the entire Tech Data domain (via standard software of the market or specific solutions as well as Cloud based architecture) in line with Enterprise Architecture, Airbus digital strategy and objectives.

Your challenges:

• Build the Architecture Vision and roadmap for the full domain of Technical Data taking into account short term objectives and long term preparation for the future of the domain

• In the frame of the vision you will have to manage the strategy around : full digitalization, global convergence (IT simplification), mobile access, 3D, real time production, cybersecurity, obsolescence strategy, etc…

• Defines models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions

• Provides an expertise on Business processes, change management transformation, function improvement and technology enablement for Business processes reengineering and supports architects during projects

• Coordinate and animate the other architects within the Tech Data domain (architecture strategy deployment, architecture design support, etc…)

• Represent Tech Data domain within several Architecture networks (Enterprise architects, DC domain architects, Engineering architects, Business architects…)

• Make the design study on major projects for the domain

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

• Strong Architect experience (functional and technical) including ability to take into consideration High level of Security requirements, High level of SLA (24/7 and blue/green), Identity and Access Management,  DevOps, urbanization concepts, Cloud concept, Mobile apps…

• Risk based approach, creative and Innovative thinking

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesizing complex information and present them to stakeholders management

• Team Player and collaborative mind-set
