Sr Fire / Automation Service Tech - New Orleans Service Area

Maintain equipment, and respond to and resolve service calls,providing technical support and troubleshooting for Honeywell customers. Theproducts serviced include large commercial HVAC automation and controls systemsand the computer networks associated with these systems, as well as having aLouisiana Fire Alarm License.  Additional responsibilities include thetechnical delivery of small service jobs, time and material work, andpreventative maintenance.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Technical and Job-Related Responsibilities.
• Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements including testing,
• calibrating verify system and peripheral device operations as per preventative maintenance schedule.
• Complete documentation of all work done, including all readings, offsets, etc.
• Maintain customer system documentation with any configuration or model changes.
• Collaborating within a team for system testing.
• Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as required.

YOU MUSTHAVE:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with Building Automation and Fire Alarm.
• Good Customer Communication Skills.
• Abilities for troubleshooting electrical wiring, interlock wiring, and software programming.
• Valid drivers license.

• Expert in any one area but possesses basic cross functional products andsystems knowledge (HVAC, FIRE).
• Expert network and integration abilities to be able to work on multipleprotocols like BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.
• Ability to train, teach, mentor and coach Associate Install TechnicalSpecialists and Install Technical Specialists and be the go-to person forcomplex system installations.
• Tridium/BACnet experience a plus.
