The role:

Standards & Policy Partner – Heathrow Support Team

Are you passionate about people and driven to deliver against consistent, robust and effective people policies for Heathrow?

This role is pivotal in the support of operational managers across the Heathrow directorate this gives our managers the tools to support their role from a policy and absence perspective which is essential for crafting A Better Heathrow for our people and customers.

What you’ll do:

You’ll have excellent attention to detail with the ability to use your best judgement in formal stage processes up to final appeal, you’ll also empower a team of Performance Development Executives and Coordinators to be the best they can be offering mentoring, development, and sharing best practices where relevant.

What you’ll bring to British Airways:

You’ll be an ambassador for the British Airways brand, behaviours, and values, upholding these to the highest standards. Your leadership and strong collaboration skills will champion key relationships internal and external to the Heathrow directorate. You’ll be able to build key relations with key stakeholders quickly.

Your experience:
  • Experience of management of conduct cases up to and including final appeals.
  • Experience of supporting and guiding managers through polices and processes.
  • Experienced with Industrial Relations, and Trade Unions.
  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment where goof time management and organisation is essential to achieving deadlines.
  • Digital mindset
  • Passionate about people.
  • Excellent knowledge of BA policies, both Employment Guide and Our Colleague Guide – internal only
