Morson Talent currently have an exciting new position for an Operations Support Operative to join our prestigious aerospace client based in Bovington. This role is a contract role until November 2024.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Load and unload equipment on & off the Wash / Blast area or into Chem Clean machines and operate machinery.
To remove oils, dirt, rust, or paint with appropriate cleaning equipment.
Supporting the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul process. Vehicles are washed down in an exterior area using high pressure washing equipment. There will be a requirement to work at height and in confined spaces.
To aid the movement of vehicles and equipment to and from various areas of site to wash areas.
MAIN TASKS
Operation of Steam and Pressure Cleaners.
Use of degreasers and other cleaning agents.
Operation of Rota Jet machines.
Operation of bead blasters.
Operation of MHE, Over cranes and forklifts. Working at Height.
Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with direction.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS (Required/Desirable)
Full Driving licence.
Forklift Licence.
Operation of various items of industrial cleaning machinery.
PUWER, HAVS experience.
Security Clearance.
Demonstrate a knowledge and application of operating Machinery.
Demonstrate working as a team and ability to work alone.
Demonstrate understand of Health, Safety, and the environment.
Some technical knowledge.
Location: DSG Bovington (BH20 6JD)
37 hours per week. Contract: 26 weeks. Salary: 20,200. Pay rate: 11.29 p/h PAYE.
