This position is for a System Test and Analysis Architect Lead to work across all Aeronautics Lines of Business (LOB) and Projects. The primary responsibility of this position is to lead all test principle engineers to develop test and analysis tactical activities across platforms. The activities will emphasize 1LMX and a common strategy across all test organization on all supporting platforms.

The System Test and Analysis lead’s tasks include developing common processes and defining a strategy for automation and analysis. The System Test and Analysis lead will also be responsible for driving digital transformation test initiatives. The System Test and Analysis Lead will design best practices and curriculums to train testers across the organization. The successful candidate will be counted on to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the System Test and Analysis field with an emphasis on automation and analysis.

The System Test and Analysis Lead must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate across teams. Additionally, this position requires project management skills; technical requirements management, resource management and allocation and technical oversight to ensure robust processes and execution occurs on all LOB platforms.

The position will require engagement with software and lab stakeholders, both internal and external to LM Aeronautics. This communication will ensure that the Test and Analysis supports the necessary requirements for Mission Systems integration lab testing, verification, and digital transofmation activities.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.



This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Software/Systems Engineering experience or equivalent
• Experience in System test and/or verification analysis
Desired Skills:
• Experience within the Simulation and System Test (SST) organization
• Experience developing a vision for an organization or team
• Experience providing oversight for direction and requirements of automated analysis tools and implementations (integrated system evaluation – ISE)
• Experience with providing direction and requirements of data capture architecture and throughput
• Experience in System Integration & Test best practices (Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test requirements, Test Reports, verification test, FMET)
• Knowledge and use of automated analysis tools
• Knowledge of Big Data capture and architecture
• Knowledge of Big Data/AI uses for automated tools
• Knowledge of SI&T handoffs and connections to Flight test

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
