Systemingenieur im Bereich PICs / Photonics (d/m/w)

Job Description:

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Spezifizierung und Übernahme der Verantwortung von System- und Subsystem-Entwicklungen im Bereich des Kommunikations-Subsystems und der optischen Sender und Empfänger der nächsten Generationen des Laser Communication Terminals LCT
• Anwendung von hochintegrierten opto-elektronischen Schaltungen (Photonic Integrated Circuits / PICs) für optische Kommunikationsterminals
• Arbeiten im Team der Systemingenieure an der Weiterentwicklung des Tesat Laser Communication Terminals
• Erarbeitung von Konzepten und Realisierungen für weltraumgeeignete Sender und Empfänger in PICs Technologie
• Technische Unterstützung für Festkörper- und Halbleiter-Laserquellen im Rahmen von Entwicklungs- und Kundenprojekten für Wissenschaftslaser
• Unterstützung bei der Spezifikation der Anforderungen und Tests, sowie Beurteilung von Systemen und Subsystemen
• Beurteilung der Subsysteme und Lieferanten- / Forschungsdesigns hinsichtlich Performance, Machbarkeit und Robustheit

Ihre Qualifikation:

• Abgeschlossenes  Studium (Physik, Nachrichtentechnik, Elektrotechnik, Photonics, o.Ä.) und mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Herstellung, Dimensionierung und oder Anwendung von PICs
• Kenntnisse und Erfahrung im Bereich Laserphysik
• Erfahrungen im Requirements- und System-Engineering
• Erfahrungen in technischer Optik und/oder optischer Fertigung wünschenswert
• Analytisches Denkvermögen
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Kundenorientierung und Organisationstalent
• Ausgeprägtes Termin- und Qualitätsbewusstsein
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- sowie gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• PC-Applikationen (MSOffice, Outlook,  etc), wünschenswert Programme zur Optik und Wellenleitersimulation
