As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a crucial role in sourcing passive candidates, attending networking events, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will lead the full cycle recruitment process, providing valuable insights to hiring teams and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

The current vacancy is a 14-month Term and can be located at one of the following locations:

  • Moncton ACC

  • Vancouver ACC

In this role you will:

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and priorities.

  • Provide valuable insight and advice to hiring teams regarding candidate selection and recruitment best practices.

  • Lead the full cycle recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.

  • Post jobs, screen resumes, conduct screening calls, and participate in interviews to assess candidates&39; qualifications, etc.

  • Attend networking events, job fairs, and other recruitment-related activities to promote the organization as an employer of choice.

  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure recruitment practices comply with legal requirements.

What you bring:

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • 2 years experience in Human Resources ideally in Talent.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment methods.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.

  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software (ie: Workday).

  • Language Requirements – Bilingual preferred (English and French)

Working Conditions:

  • This hybrid position is based at the Ottawa Head Office or one of our regional Area Control Centres in Gander, Moncton, Montreal (Dorval), Toronto (Mississauga), Winnipeg, Edmonton (Leduc) or Vancouver (Surrey)  and the successful candidate will be required to travel as required for job fair and networking events.
