About the role
As the Technical Asset Coordinator, you must proactively monitor the state of shared Technical IT Assets as well as responding to user calls to ensure defective equipment is restored to service in minimum time. You must Initiate orders for new equipment and processes Lost/Damaged/Obsolete equipment. These assets include Shared PCs, Tough Books, Printers, Presentation Screens, Radios, Mobile Phones, Auto Cribs and projectors. Finally, you will be Providing first level support to technical staff on the use of equipment. Ensures that software on maintenance laptops is up to latest revision.
Job Responsibilities
- Data entry and management in key systems, specifically the Technical Systems management system.
- Co-ordination of stakeholders to support the delivery of MRO Systems and Innovations, ensuring that all stakeholders adhere to guidelines and that documentation has been received to allow achievement of relevant milestones.
- Support of the wider Technical Business staff and other core support business who are responsible for the day to day monitoring and reporting of activity within their areas.
- Support to coordinate new projects for Proof of concept (POC) to ensure successful implementation for QR Technical chosen touchpoints.
- Coordinate with the team of specialist ongoing operational support to Technical Departments so that business is supported with relevant Systems.
- Coordinate and support to develop and manage reporting of Key Performance Indicators, in order to measure operational performance and pursue improvement accordingly.
- Maintains lists of IT assets in order to continually monitor and control the serviceability of these assets. Updates the lists as new assets are acquired or old ones disposed of.
- Advises Technical staff on the process and procedure to be followed for issues not handled within the Business Support Group such as Desktop support, Application support and new equipment requests. Provides first level support to technical staff utilizing shared desktop PCs to the level of logging in and accessing the standard SharePoint dashboard screens and must be knowledgeable in the content of the dashboards.
- Maintains user access database for MRO system for the roles defined.
- Maintains detailed records of all routine activities, callouts and failures through the provided mobile application in order to collect data for a continuous improvement cycle

About you
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience
- Must have strong problem-solving skills, be self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural setting
Preferred
- Experience within an Aircraft Maintenance environment.
