Technical Product Owner – Group Services will be responsible for evangelising a domain of our Group Services roadmap across Group Finance, Group Procurement and Supply Chain along with Facilities. We are ideally looking for experience in Facilities Management or Group Finance however we are interested primarily in strong Product Owner experience which is transferable to our Group Services portfolio.
You will act as the bridge between the technical team(s) and your stakeholders. You will help to define the vision of the products we create; drive the planning, prioritisation and execution of backlogs and deliver new features that support our strategic goals.
In this role, you will:
- Be a part of our Product community, focusing on collaboration cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, architecture, and business partners, and identifying opportunities of improvement and growth.
- Be able to analyse business functionality changes and determine features and stories that clearly articulate the full range of amendments/enhancements that need to be done to both vendor and in-house systems.
- Own the entire lifecycle of the Product and drive product development through your engineering and scrum teams
- Write and refine user stories, prioritise backlogs, manage release activities and support sprint ceremonies
- Define detailed use cases, product requirements, and technical specs needed to support roadmap initiatives.
- Set product objectives, define success metrics and deliver business outcomes, ensuring KPIs and targets are met
- Continuously innovate and iterate as you deliver your roadmap in order to provide the best product and solutions possible
- Deliver world class user journeys that our customers value
- Document process flows to illustrate to-be states and changes to information flow.
- Conduct discoveries/feasibilities that potentially lead to RFI/RFT with the ability to manage those to conclusion with detailed vendor evaluations.
- At times be required to engage, drive and manage vendor priorities and activities pertaining to your prioritised backlog.
