Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking skilled technical sourcer to assist with the sourcing and hiring of candidates for specialized technical positions. In this role, you will source and interact with potential candidates online, develop talent pipelines, conduct initial candidate screenings and set up interviews. You may also be required to manage the candidate database and record hiring conversion rates.
To ensure success as a technical sourcer, you should have detailed knowledge of modern sourcing techniques, excellent communication skills, and good interviewing skills. A skilled technical sourcer will be able to source qualified candidates for positions that are often hard to fill.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Proactively research candidates through various online platforms, databases, social networks and other resources to identify potential candidates with the desired technical skills and experience.
- Utilize advanced search technical, Boolean logic and keyword optimization to narrow down and target relevant candidates effectively.
- Reach out to identified candidates through personalized messages, emails, or social media to introduce job opportunities and assess their interests.
- Build and maintain relationships with active and passive potential candidates to create a talent pipeline for future positions.
- Convert passive candidates into active applicants by effectively communicating the company’s value proposition and job opportunities.
- Conduct initial technical screening to gauge interest and capability.
- Coordinate interview with candidate and Hiring managers.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrable track record building a qualified pipeline of talent.
- Experience developing and executing a successful recruiting strategy.
- Dynamic personality with ability to engage with talent across multiple platforms.
- Knowledge and experience using AI or Boolean logic in search criteria
- Effective keyword optimization strategies.
- Must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and juggle multiple staffing needs simultaneously.
- Proficient in using various sourcing channels including LinkedIn, job boards, and networking.
- Possess excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience screening for technical niche positions in the DoD space or industry (system engineers, software developers, SMEs, cybersecurity professionals, etc.).
Education and Experience
- A bachelors degree in technical area preferred
- Three+ years of experience technical sourcing or recruiting within a U.S. government contracting environment.
Desired Requirements:
- Proficient with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System
- Former Military (Any branch)
- DoD Secret Clearance

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $0 to $125,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
