Description:Plans, develops, and implements technical automotive training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training will include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product training modules on M1288, GMV 1.1 platforms. Cleary and confidently communicates automotive theory of operation on instructional material. Obtains information from customer, engineering, and related sources to develop a POI, prepare lesson plans, training materials, and course content. Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course materials reflect product features and modifications, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information and course content up to date. Works under general supervision. Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific deliverables. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules. Frequent use and application of technical manuals, Military standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Basic Qualifications:
10yrs of automotive repair experience.
Ability to instruct others in a schoolhouse setting, in diagnostics and repair of automotive platforms.
Must hold or can become certified in one of the following: Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course, Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC) or equivalent courses.
Must be able to read, understand OEM technical manuals and be able to instruct others in the maintenance and repair of automotive platforms.
Must be professional and portray good communication skills while performing instruction.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be able to travel CONUS, OCONUS (up to two weeks or more at a time) and to areas with hazardous duty locations.
An active U.S. Department of Defense Secret (or Interim Secret) Security Clearance.
Ability to travel on any notice required.
A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel.
Candidate must be able to maintain a good working relationship with the customer and team
Desired Skills:
Military instructor experience and/or Automotive instructor experience.
Extensive FOSOV platform experience in CONUS and/or OCONUS environment.
Extensive knowledge of M1288 GMV 1.1, Polaris and Toyota products.
Master technician, ASE, or similar certifications.
Experience in the development, implementation, and instruction of related platforms with course POI and curriculum written to TRADOC 350-70.
Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course, Total Army Instructor Training Course or Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course, Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC), the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or the Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC) (or equivalent courses).
Prior Military experience (MOS 91)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
