Telecom Ground Segment System Architect (m/f)

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Telecom Ground Segment System Architect (m/f) to join our ground segment systems engineering and integration department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing ground segments for our space systems.

You will be in charge of system engineering of a ground segment for a telecommunication satellite project.

You will evolve in a Project context that will imply a great level of autonomy in your day-to-day activities.

Your challenges:

• Understand and capture Customer needs,

• Endorse organization and lead ground segment definition activities,

  • Requirement management,

  • Architecture and design,

  • Support to validation and qualification,

• Analyze ground system operations and contribute to the global Concept Of Operations of the system,

• Manage customer relationship for technical aspects,

• Prepare and contribute to design project reviews (PDR-CDR).

Your profile:

• Engineering degree or equivalent,

• Experienced professional,

• Experience in systems engineering,

• Knowledge in telecommunications or space domains,

• System Model Engineering (MBSE),

• An experience in IVV or IVQ would be a plus,

• IT/Infrastructure, network and cloud technologies competences,

• Leadership and communications skills,

• Advanced level of English required.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
